Independence Palace

Address: 106 Nguyen Du St., Dist. 1, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

The Independence Palace also known as the Reunification Palace was the Vietnamese President’s workplace and home during the Vietnam war. Walking through the palace is like going back in time.

The interior of the Independence Palace is of the 1970s era and most of the original furniture and décor is untouched. My favourite room was the underground war bunker.
